Dear friends and supporters,

We are thrilled to announce that we’ve been invited for a two-week residency at Adams Theater from May 26 to June 8, 2025, to present “La Playa” on June 7.

Adams Theater is kindly covering the venue costs, technical support, and marketing during the residency, and our friends at Floating Tower are providing accommodation.

However, we still need to fund the artists’ pay, costumes, and set design, totaling $10,450. This funding would support:

We appreciate any support you can give to make this residency a reality. Thank you for being part of our creative journey!

“La Playa” is a journey of transformation, moving from being trapped in the mind to embracing the body and its emotions. Through dance, it invites the audience to reflect on their inner selves and their connection to the world around them. “La Playa” unfolds in two parts: “La Playa Café” and “La Playa Beach”. “La Playa Café delves into the intertwined lives of four café workers, each shaped by their unique histories, personal struggles, and relationships. Their story, told through the dynamic interplay of physical theater and dance, builds toward a powerful and transformative moment at the La Playa Beach – when their lives are forever changed by a catastrophic tsunami.

Our work-in-progress, “La Playa,” has been made possible by Catskills Art Space, Ardsley Residency, and the generous support of our friends. We look forward to bringing it to full production with your continued support.
