We are raising $34,215 to fund three projects.

1. Self-Produced show in New York in autumn of 2024 and Premiere of the “La Playa”

We are raising $16,275 to bring this project to life.

• $8,725 to cover theater rental fees
• $4,400 to cover collaborative artists performance fees
• $3,750 to cover rehearsal space, artist’s rehearsal stipend, costumes
• $3,100 to cover other production expenses (including production fees, photography, video)
• Ticket sales assuming two sold-out shows will cover 20% of production cost.

2. “Scenes of Power” (working title) is a hybrid physical theater piece exploring the intricate power dynamics between humans themselves, between humans and nature, and between government and people. 

We are raising $6,100 to cover initial development phase:

• 2 weeks laboratory / research / creation process to find movement language with 9 collaborators
• work with text and dramaturgy
• begin music score creation
• developing of costumes and set design.

3. Dance film “Elevator” – 4 novellas filmed in four cities about immigration, finding connection with the city and people, about homesick and nostalgia, about gifts and miracles of discovering yourself in a new reality, about the moments we are going through in our journeys.

We are raising $11,840 to cover the expenses for:

• actor fees
• cinematographer fees
• script writing
• travel
• editing
• festivals application fees.
