“The Body as an Archive” project seeks to convey visually an intensity of emotions by translating the memory of human experiences into movement. “The Body as an Archive” is one of the inspirations of the artist’s work. It’s not only about the transformation and baggage of someone else’s experience through memories, but also about the uprooting and reconsideration of one’s own experiences.
The project is ongoing and aims to combine photography, text (memories of the participants) and performance. It is well suited for the gallery or museum space.
Exhibition opening and curated performance event at SMUSH Gallery in 2022.
